SPORTS PHYSICALS
The Colorado High School Activities Association requires a new physical on all athletes each year. On Saturday, August 1, sports physicals will be given at Arapahoe High School by appointment only to all Arapahoe High School athletes competing in sports for the 2009-10 school year. Physicals will be given from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. Please call Physiotheraphy Associates at 303-694-9193 to schedule an appointment. A check for $25.00 made payable to Arapahoe High School will be due at time of physical.
ATTENTION FALL SPORT ATHLETES
Fall sports practices begin on Monday, August 17. In order to participate, ALL registration/physical paperwork must be completed and turned in to the Athletic Office by this date.
Please do not mail Athletic Information to the school!
Fall Sports Registration will be accepted on the following dates during schedule pickup:
Thursday, August 6—8am to 12pm, for Seniors and Juniors
Friday, August 7—8am to 12pm, for Freshman and Sophomores
ARAPAHOE ATHLETIC NIGHT
All students who plan to participate in one or more sports during the 2009-10 school year MUST attend this meeting on Monday, August 17, at 7:00 pm in the Main Gym with their parents. Our Athletic Code of Conduct, including an orientation to the AHS Athletic Program, will be shared as well as an opportunity to meet with coaches in team meetings. Participating on an Arapahoe athletic team is a privilege. With this privilege come certain responsibilities since student/athletes represent Arapahoe High School in the classroom, in the hallways, during athletic contests and in our community.
